On this site Ian has posted images of his paintings and digital photography that he has produced over the past 12-18 months.
Most deal with his fascination for religion, repetition, fractals and spirituality.
Ian is influenced deeply by Indian poet laureate Rabindranath Tagore's beautiful words that resonate so deeply within him and that have inspired some of these works.
Ian continues to refine his works using various forms of scripts as a starting point in his painting, breaking it down into fractal elements and in an abstract manner to produce images of intentional ambiguity.
Some of his photographic works are derived from his paintings and are manipulated to give him a second generation of work to explore and expand his ideas for yet further posssibilities in his painting.
So if you have an interest in his work, then he would appreciate any comments that you care to leave.
As well if you have any enquiries for purchasing any works then he will attend to those enquiries
as soon as possible.
